I had always talked while looking in the mirror as if I was being recorded. I would do it while I brushed my teeth, while I did my makeup, while I did everything... and I would pretend I was telling people in the videos things that were going on in the world.
Even though I thought I was talking to myself, I wasn't.
I was being recorded.
I was being watched.
And... the things I was telling people about my world were actually going to save theirs.
They were my secret audience.

You're awake. You're different. You exist, suddenly, as two things. You, the one you know, with the body and name you're familiar with--and this new you, the one exists within you.
