Shortcut

Mason Kidd comes from an abusive and broken home, and decides she can't take it anymore. With little food or money, Mason leaves to live in the streets of New York City, which is dangerous for a girl who's barely even been out of the house. With much struggle, she is later be-friended by a boy who helps her live in the streets considering her state.
