George died in a horrible accident caused from going insane. Sapnap originally would never of thought he'd come back as a ghost. Though he did. George is the kind of ghost that chooses when they're visible. He choose to never show himself seeing as no one payed mind to him in life.

George had gone insane but no one knew how to help. He went to kill someone who no one had heard of. The next morning he was found, holding the end of the sword, he had stabbed himself through the stomach. Sapnap had found him and George's last words were "I bid my lover adieu" everyone thought he meant his spouse. But in truth, he meant Sapnap. To which Sap knew was the truth.
