Thea Slater is average. Average hair, average school life, average family, all around average seventeen year old. She has her moments that are perfect and amazing, but she has her faults as well. She likes to visit the little arcade on the pier just as much as the next teen. It's an escape from reality, a break from stress, basically a safezone. Aiken Greene, on the other hand, is on a completely different spectrum. He is eighteen, and he basically lives at the arcade to get away from his not so average family. Their a bunch of nitwits that think they are so special because they have a big house, big money, and run a big company that they only got from inheritance. He has a high score on every game, no matter who tries to beat him. Well, he did. When he walked in and out of the blistering heat of California, he looked at the scoreboard on a game and had to do a double take. Someone had gotten a higher score than him, and his winning streak had ended. He couldn't believe it. He's had high scores for years. Until she beat him, of course.

Victore Academy boarding school is a lot of things. To the outside world, it's the heaven of schools. For some students, it's an experience they'll never forget. For others, it's the place to start their careers. And maybe for a few, it's the peak of their lives and really as good as it's going to get for them. And for me... well, I'll need a bit more than this to talk about that. But before you step in, here's a few things that everyone makes note of: 1. The students have secrets. And money. It's hard to tell what more of, honestly. 2. Don't get a room on the West Side of the girl's dorms. The birds around that private property lake house downside from campus don't stop chirping at 5AM. It's unpleasant, to say the least. 3. Avoid Mr. Labadee's classroom at all costs outside of lessons, especially past fifth period. It's better off if you're left in the dark with this one. 4. That asshole from Spain that terrorizes all the young freshmen is not hot. However, girls do make note of the fact that he works out post seventh period and right before first, near the track field. 5. The Victor's Tournament happens every year for all the senior year students. It's a pretty big deal. 6. And I think Armin Rivers is probably going to kill someone before he wins it (and it's probably gonna be that Spanish asshole). cover by soundthealarm
