Valya Annora Atanasov is an average Sokovian woman who had fled to England for asylum in the late 1980s after a HYDRA affiliated group attempted to take her life. Now in the 1990s after being told by the Sokovian government that it was safe for her to return home she returns home but would find that she would never be safe in Sokovia. One day, whilst attempting to shake a band of attackers from off of her back, she bumps into Baron Zemo and would continue to bump into him until he asks her on a date. After a tragic accident, Valya would come to realize that her lover was working for HYDRA and Zemo would have to regain her trust.

AN: This is a completely self-indulgent fic based on a scene I am writing between Zemo and two original characters for my long fic. I replaced the OMC with Bucky and the OFC with the reader, so yeah it's not really in character but it's fun!
