When a drunken escapade in an IHOP parking lot results in her best friend's car getting the big caput, CJ now bears the responsibility of being her ride, which means picking her up from school.

This school just so happens to be the one and only Prescott Academy.

A classy, private establishment where wealthy offspring and lucky scholarship recipients attend to receive quality instruction and tutelage. CJ meets neither of those requirements, she and like 95% of kids her age was subject to the public school system. Not that she minded seeing as she was the farthest thing from class imaginable. Tall, broad-shouldered, and red-necked were the characteristics that made her perfect for one thing: football.

And well, mischief.

With the opportunity of a lifetime, CJ doesn't hold anything back when her cowboy boots take their first steps onto rich and elite territory.

Prescott Academy hold onto yer lacrosse sticks because you ain't ready for CJ Flanagan.

Contents include: football, men falling from the sky, a sketchy basement, a hot lacrosse player, eating someone else's leftovers, polygraph testing, and did I mention the hot lacrosse player?

The Vipers - Book One ~ The Carter family held power that took years to gain. They were powerful, ruthless, and held no traits of mercy. Except for one. Easton Carter was the youngest of the Carters. And was far different to the reputation that the Carter name held. She was all things good. She was friendly, compassionate, sympathetic, and above all, far from a killer. And she vowed to live a normal life, no matter what her brothers get up to. Her normality consisted of being a soccer player and getting through the last two years of high school. But inside of her house, all of those things seem to disappear and she's forced to listen to what happens within the underground of the city. The Vipers are the most feared mob in the Los Angeles underground. They trick and attack their enemies without any mercy, but someone is targeting them. They need the help of the Carter hitmen. Kaleb Reed was raised to be a Viper. To be patient, and to strike when the enemy least expects it. His reputation is tainted with fear and viciousness, his skill unmatched. Kaleb has walls built higher than heaven, or hell, in Kaleb's case. It's solid and locked tighter than a prison, but the walls begin to shake and the ice begins to melt upon meeting the youngest Carter. Easton, in Kaleb's eyes, is no more than a naïve, young kid. Everything rainbows and puppies within her world. But he couldn't have been more wrong. Kaleb wants nothing to do with Easton, putting his sole focus on his job. But with one glance from Easton, Kaleb was hooked.

"New student, right?" the Principal asked me. I nodded meekly, hoping that he would turn out to be a patient suffering from short term memory loss and would forget about detention but his next words confirmed how rotten my luck was! "Mr Spencer, Ms Wilson" he began in an icy calm voice," creating a raucous in the corridors right outside my office isn't exactly a heroic thing to do. Both of you have an option of either a week detention together or a two week detention together." My eyes shot wide open, "One week detention with him! That's practically impossible for humankind!" "I don't want to risk my bright IQ by serving detention with this psycho!" I heard Spencer jerk protest. "You have an IQ???" I looked at him, giving my best shocked expressions, "Is it the joke of the decade or joke of the century???" "Since you didn't react to my calling you a psycho, it confirms that you are one." he shrugged calmly. My brain was ready in an instant with a smart answer to that. I opened my mouth to give it back to him--- "STOP." The headmaster yelled, the pulse in his temple was throbbing red in fury. "The options are now changed to three week detention or four week detention." he muttered in anger. ***** Andrea Wilson was looking forward to having an ordinary life in school. But things don't turn out as planned when she accidentally gets into the bad books of the hot nerd in school. And when that popular nerd turns out to be her brother's best friend....well things don't really uncomplicate. Add to this generous amounts of classes, detentions, friends, enemies, crushes, heart breaks and Andrea is all set to have an eventful year in High School that she was for sure not looking forward to! ~*~~*~*~~*~ #7 in Teen Fiction 4.5.16

How would you describe Franklin Stine? "Devoted underachiever." "Too bland to pick out of a police line-up." "Vanilla paste mixed with white rice and a side of chalk." Or maybe just one word: boring. As in "the most boring boy in the entire world." (They had an awards ceremony; he took home a lazy little trophy.) All Franklin wants is to sleep through high school, and his depressingly average life, without too much fuss. But then she happened. Kimberly King. If you were brave enough to describe her, you might say: "natural leader," "badass with a baseball bat," "six star general," or even, "purple hair." She's recruiting any and all students with magical power to join her Konquest Klub. Her ultimate goal: world domination, and they can either join her, or wind up as one of the many "Slop Boys" under her future regime. That's not an idea most people can take seriously-Franklin included. He doesn't want to get caught in a time loop. He doesn't want to kidnap animals from the zoo. He doesn't want to have anything to do with magic, genies or caramel lattes. And he really wishes that Kimberly would stop using the Boy's Restroom for her secret meetings. What no one realizes is that underneath Kimberly's bravado and confidence lies a dark secret-and when it comes out, Franklin is the only friend that Kimberly has left. Will one deeply uninteresting boy and one crazy-ambitious girl be enough to face punk-rock magicians, zoo security, and a timeline stuck on reload? Will Kimberly really conquer the world? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ All things Kimberly now exist here: https://abylon.wordpress.com/ Show your support for the Konquest Klub by leaving an Amazon review: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018ZY85V8
