"What if they don't like me?"
I look at him and say
"Well then that sucks."
He asks quietly
"You'd pick me over them?"
I shrug and say
"We are the wannabes."

Valery Bristol has always been "Queen Bee" of the school. She's had everything handed to her. She doesn't know what a day of work looks like.
Atlas Rivers was lucky if the teachers remembered his name. The only reason he didn't fully disappear was all thanks to his band and friends.
What happens when Valery gets in trouble and has to attend Atlas' show?
