Two girls, one guy, who's heart belongs to who? Jona finds herself placed in a situation where unnatural creatures are determined to kill her. As she runs away, she didn't expect to find out that she's been living in a life made out of lies. Consumed by the lies and her fear, she can't seem to trust anyone which in turn puts her in a much more dangerous situation. Will she ever learn to trust again? Will she ever uncover the truth? Along the way, there will be hearts being broken, Secrets yet to be out in the open, And mythical creatures yet to be discovered. ----------- Warning: Supernatural creaures are mentioned in this story. In the small college town of Greyheart, Meadow Marsden grew up under the weight of being the Sheriff's Daughter. That is until her Father died of a mysterious and very random heart attack. It's been a year since he died and Meadow is left picking up the pieces. She now wasn't just the town Sheriff's daughter whose Mother took off when she was only three, instead, she's the daughter of the late Sheriff and, technically, an orphan. Without her Dad, Meadow is coasting through the final semesters of college and trying to keep her mental capacity together. That is until she stumbles across an exquisite and exotic ring. It's not the design of the ring that makes it stand out the most, but the fact that it produces a beautiful neon blue hue and when worn, Meadow discovers she can see the dead. But not just any dead, it allows her to see the victims of similar fates as her Dad's. Mysterious heart attacks with little to no traces of heart-related issues prior. Of all the dead visitors the ring brings, Meadow quickly finds out that the ghosts are the last of her worries. Instead, her main and only concern is the person who claims the ring is his and he lost it. Hayze. The son of Hades, the God of the Underworld. Hayze claims the ring does more, it's a sentencing for souls, a talisman used to keep Hades's powers under control. Hades is away on vacation and has entrusted the ring to his only son. Meadow's only chance at seeing her Dad again and getting the truth about what happened to him is with that ring, but Hayze isn't leaving the world of the living without it. Even when the creatures seeking to take control of the ring appear. Meadow's in a fight for her life, the truth, and the acceptance that maybe everything she knew about herself isn't what she thought it was. With the odds against her, she can only lean on Hayze, but how do you trust a man known for the games he plays?
