Martier and his dragon, Skirin, have built a lasting friendship over the years that the Children of Cataclam has hunted them.  They have fought together and laughed together, and Martier has sworn an oath to protect Skirin.
No matter what.

But then one day, Martier meets two soldiers from the Furghon Empire tasked with exterminating the Children.  Martier agrees to go with them to their home, where he and Skirin can hopefully find a place where they belong, not knowing that is where their destiny awaits.  Old memories are rekindled, and new friendships are forged on this journey of a child finding his way home.

This is an original novella.  While the concept of a particular part of this story has been inspired by another source, I am the sole owner of all the material presented here.  Any similarities in name are coincidental.
I should also mention that this is a novella, meaning it is quite short (10 chapters to be precise).  This means there WILL be fast areas as I try to fit all of the necessary stuff in while maintaining a proper flow.

Releasing everything without supervision. Hence, this phenomenon being called "Destabilization". Now, Monsters and deviants alike set free to roam. Some take matters into their own hands to escape. (Y/N) is a subject within the bowels of the facility, among the few who have the will to survive. Though, with little knowledge of their own past and current situation, (Y/N) finds some friends along the way. All hoping to find an escape. This story is a little gay, just a little. This is a story of two worlds, one being the normal earth and the other a magical one set in the medieval times. One school trip to the forest brings Y/n to another world, where she meets Chan, the Prince who's next in line for the throne. He's a very secretive person and is not what everyone thinks of him as. With a dark past, he struggles with a lot of things, one being trusting people. Another being his insomnia. The two start to meet but as time goes by, a tragedy happens. Being a Prince means being next in line for the throne, but that also creates jealously and hate among some individuals. Some even plot his death. Will he be able to get through it? And is this world even real? Or will Y/n return to the normal world one day?

First off, this story was not written by me. I am posting it for a friend of mine, with permission of course. This took place in a Dungeons & Dragons game over 30 years ago. It is a about how one of the player characters got his start; Crentar Bronn. He is a human ranger of 1st level in this story. This is important to note, because it'll bring more perspective as you read the story. I was the DM (Dungeon Master) for this game. At the time, we were still in high school, which of course, gives away our age. lol I decided to have each character do it solo before they actually met up with each other. A teaser so-to-speak. Eventually, there was five player characters in the game. My friend who ran Crentar Bronn remembers this whole solo adventure to this very day in great detail. A few years after the game is when he wrote this story. We were recently reminiscing about 'old times' and he told me that he actually wrote it out as a story. He was then able to find it on an old hard drive & then sent it to me. I was very surprised at how good this is & how great his memory was from that adventure. I'm flattered that he was so inspired by it, that he turned it into a story! I hope you enjoy this early adventure of Crentar Bronn as much as we did. Perhaps, with enough comments & likes, he'll be inspired to write more chapters. THX
