Created by the mad scientist Dr. Hellios, the 'cosmical warlord' has been considered to be the greatest threat to humanity as he is believed to possess an unimaginable capability that could annihilate every species on Earth in just a blink of an eye.

In response to this, it was reported that the world government deployed all their aces to assassinate the 'cosmical warlord' at the time of his birth along with his creator and their haven, the Hellian laboratory. It was then publicized that the objective has been carried out successfully, putting everyone on peace and security. 

Since then, Dr. Hellios and the alleged cosmical warlord became the symbol of death and evil. They were hated and cursed by every individual in the world even if it was already two decades since the turmoil.

Little did everyone know, Dr. Hellios and the Hellian laboratory along with his greatest creation, will rose from the dead 25 years later. By this time, no one can stop them to carry out their goal - to destroy the world. At least, this was what the public believed due mainly, to ignorance and fear.

"People fear what they don't even understand," Dr. Hellios whispered, shaking his head in annoyance and disappointment.

"Gyro, it's time..." he stated, looking at his masterpiece who's wearing his fierce smirk.

"Let's save this world."

In an alternate timeline, the human race found a way to create superpowers. By extracting energy from stars and inserting that energy into humans, 'powers' were created. Powers allowed humans to gain unnatural abilities such as flight, invisibility, super strength or in other words, superpowers. Of course, with the introduction of something so revolutionary, people rose up in the hundreds of thousands in an event known as the Great Rebellion. The insurgents banded together under a single banner and became collectively known as the Shadow, marking the beginning of the Cosmic Wars. Out of the darkness, the Gazers were born. Using what remained of the power technology, the Gazers singlehandedly perished the evil and ended the conflict. However, there was a price to pay. Powers put a toll on the human body and had serious mental and physical repercussions. The solution was to recruit children from the age of 13 to 18 and train them so their bodies would adapt to their powers, eventually becoming immune to all negative side effects. The end of the Cosmic Wars brought forth a new age of peace and prosperity that the world had never seen before. However, the long reign of the Gazers has already begun to crumble, cracks showing up within the very thread of society. Their rule will not last for much longer. The Shadow will rise once again.
