Yoron Island

Yoron Island is a real life island located south of Japan's mainland. This short story recounts an experience I had during early 2017. I had a trip to this particular island with full knowledge I'd write about it sometime later in my life. Some moments in the story will seem fabricated to fit a narrative, but these were meta moments in my experience that I knew would sound great in a plot. However, I toned down the severity of the conflict since this story was turned in as a school assignment. Please read the "Context" chapter before reading.
