An escape pod lands on Earth with a 13 year old girl and a one year old boy as its passengers. The two have only minutes before they are being chased by a species they do not know or trust, humans. Kara runs across the country with only one goal in mine, fulfilling her oath to her mother and keeping Kal-El alive while trying to deal with powers that are becoming out of control.

Kara and Lena Danvers have been happily married for fifteen years; living in the suburbs with their teenage daughter, Eliza. The only problem is that Kara is not the boring technology sales rep her family thinks she is, but rather a secret agent, especially talented in espionage, weaponry, and hand-to-hand combat. Just as she starts to realize her neglectful ways have her on the verge of losing her stifled wife and disgruntled daughter, the hunt for a dangerous terrorist reaches its boiling point. Translations written: (underlined) Author's Note: This is an AU rewrite of James Cameron's True Lies 1994 Screenplay. The original was full of 90s toxic masculinity and stereotypes, so some of the behavior is out of character, but through all the angst and (quite ridiculous) action, lessons are learned and a happy ending comes together. Edits are ongoing, but the story itself is complete. Other Notes: The movie's lead bad guy was a Syrian extremist, but I wanted to use characters from Season 6, so I went with an ancient cult out of South America instead. Also, I always think of National City as being in California, usually around San Francisco whereas most of this movie was based between DC and the Florida Keys... So, please pretend there's a Florida Keys-esque chain of islands off the coast of Southern California connected by bridges. Okay? Thank you!

Warning contains spoilers from season 6a Kara, who has been stuck in the Phantom Zone for several months and is slowly losing hope, is finally rescued by her family. When she gets into the spaceship, she immediately flies to Alex and hugs her tightly. Everyone is happy to have Kara back and hopes that everything can return to normal, as it always was. But when Kara's and Lena's eyes meet, they realize that a lot has changed, and they still have to clarify a lot. That's been a year ago and physically, Lena is fine, but she has a severe depression and needs someone to look after her. That's where Kara comes in. During her time with the Luthor's she slowly finds out there's a little more going on, though.
