"I-I'm cancelling the bet." I said, breathing hard.
Jake snapped his head towards me, furrowing his brows. He stood up, walking over to me, inhaling his cigarette before asking, "And why is that?"
I bit my lip, trying to find the right words to say before he interrupted, "Don't tell me you fell in love with her."
The other guys all snickered, including Jake. "Yes, i am, i'm in love with Emma."
Jake's facial expression immediately changed, his eyes turning darker. "Did you forget Horan? You made a deal."
I furrowed my brows, remembering the deal.
"You made a deal... That if you get in her pants, you'll get a thousand bucks. But if you don't and fall in love with her, you know what's gonna happen to you big boy?"
I fumed, clenching my fists as i gave him the most deadliest stare i ever gave to anyone.
Jake laughed bitterly, looking back at me. "They get beat up, and they can't do anything to defend themself."

The last time she had seen him, he had just a slight tuft of blonde but his hair had grown out enough to cut it and now it was all back to his natural color.
