She was happy to be with him when they made inventions together until she met tadashi's younger brother, hiro hamada willing to get in the institute. She was inspire by his invention the microbots and has caught the attention of two popular men robert callaghan and alister krei.

She watch the boy rejoice in his victory until a massive fire occur inside the museum, realizing callaghan was there. She saw tadashi run inside the building, hoping to follow him but the museum explode.

Being so much burden in tadashi's death. She decided to visit hiro upstairs finding him so much depress as she as. Until baymax came into their life and treat them as his patients.
