Lola died in a car accident. She found herself in the afterlife, in the middle of a raging war that's been happening for thousands of years between the Darkling Demons and the Purgatory warriors called the Guardians of Zion. The Angels were real and even God was real - she discovered. But then so were the demons. Lola was the only one who have seen the afterlife and told the tale. She saw how the Guardians and the Darklings fought for every soul that entered the Purgatory. The Darklings wanted to enslave them and the Guardians were doing their best to save them so the souls could pass the judgement and continued their journey to the next level of the Afterlife. But the Darklings were planning to overrun the only city in Purgatory where all the souls resided waiting for judgement and planted someone to steal the city's protection - the Heavenly Salve of Archangel Raphael. When the opportunity came to go back to the living world and helped the Guardians to recover the relic that kept the Iduri City protected, Lola jumped at the chance. She wanted to be in the vibrant world of the living and to see her family once again, to see the boy she liked and to be with her friends. But going back to the living meant one thing - she would leave the one boy he met in the afterlife who'd been there to keep her safe all the time. Would Lola give HIM up? Find out!

In the beginning she was alive, her soul bare for this man, loved him with every fiber of her being. She was willing to give up everything that she had for him and worked hard for the future they both hoped for each other; when he still existed. She loved him but did he ever feel the same way? He was loving, caring, and kind; everything a girl could ever wish for in a man. The words destructive and inhuman would've never crossed her mind to describe her husband; or was she so stupid to see it all from the very beginning? Every day she prayed to the man above that the love and attention she constantly gave him would be enough to change such characteristic; no, flaw. But it wasn't so. Every day was a battle, getting worse and worse; that one day she just snapped. ***STRONG PLOT AND LANGUAGE*** ***UPDATE*** To my great surprise, this story has been getting more reads than I ever thought possible. I reread what I wrote once again and tried not to cringe at the many errors and awful sentence structure I had. So in the spirit of Christmas I will try to edit and perfect this story. There wouldn't be changes in the plot, just hopefully a better way of sharing my thoughts. If it's still crap, then I apologize I'm only human :) ****

"Sshhhhh....." he hushed and pinned us against the wall leaving no space between us. I held onto his biceps with my hand in reflex. He shook his head lightly signalling me not to scream. But did not remove his palm, awaiting confirmation I guessed. I nodded a little locking eyes with him fearfully. I witnessed a glimmer in his eyes and he removed his palm from my mouth slowly. I mustered up a little strength and asked nervously. "Kon hai aap aur yahan kya kar rhe hain," His eyes softened, looking deep into my eyes as if he could see through them as if he owned them. A strong wind surfaced, pulling away the fabric and revealing his face. It was him. My heartbeats raced wildly. He flickered his gaze to my lips for a few seconds, licked his lower lip a little with an unreadable emotion and peered back deeply into my eyes, delving into my soul. He replied in the raw, masculine and resonating voice I had heard months before. "Daksh naam hai hamara. Vivaah karne aaye hai aapse," *** I could not believe my eyes that he was standing right in front of me. The day I walked away from him, with a swarm of butterflies in the depths of my guts and belly, I never considered the possibility of crossing our paths again. I never thought we would get another chance in this life. Was it a wise decision of me to run away back then like that? The moments we shared back then flashed back into my memory. I started wondering if this was a coincidence or if he purposely located me. *** This is the love story of Daksh Pratap Rathore and Radhika Maan Singh. Storyline occurs in early years of 21st century(2001). A love saga bridging the gap between a city-born man and a village-raised girl. They are soulmates longing for love and solace from each other in different parameters. Let us dive into their journey of togetherness, and internal conflicts and see if and how they find solace with each other. First 2 chapters can be descriptive but I'm sure you'll like the story further.

[guardianangel!au] having him by my side was simultaneously the best and worst thing to ever happen to me. It was like seeing my reflection move on its own in the mirror; something so inexplicable that I couldn't help but freeze in my tracks. It was weird at first, having someone that I knew was always a few steps behind me or around the next corner, but eventually, I found myself taking comfort in it. I grew used to him and the glowing halo he adorned, and he became the reason there was always a hint of a smile on my face. Even if I didn't know the story behind his untraditional appearance to me. Eventually, when we both realised what was going on, something began to change. We were distant at first, not knowing how to handle it, but after everything, he became something close to a friend. He gave me a shoulder to cry on and he kept my head above water, but most of all, he gave me someone that I knew I could always trust. But working our way around the guidelines as friends was hard enough. Unfading Love..!! ⬇️⬇️⬇️ I pointed a finger at his chest and shouted, "Why are you doing this to me? You know I don't trust anyone easily, except YOU." My emotions overwhelmed me, making it hard to form words. To my surprise, his smirk widened, and with that, I gave up. Tears streamed down my face as I turned and walked toward the door. The intense feelings I had moments ago began to fade, leaving me hollow and alone. I had never felt this way before, and it was all because of Abid. I couldn't defeat him, no matter how much I wanted to. I wasn't stronger than him, and somehow he was still the first person I loved-and still loved.
