Loki thought he killed this whole Jötun race a while ago, he thought life at Asgard was peaceful, other than his bragging brother, the nagging warrior three, and the always depressed and strict Sif.
one day, a 19 year old girl shows up in Asgard one day, no one knows as to why, but she says she's alone, and homeless, needing a place to stay, The Allfather accepts, but always has to have an eye on her when she's not in her room.
Loki doesn't like how she randomly showed up and is very skeptical of this female, until he finds out the truth, she's like him...
One day, Aurora thinks someone might be messing with her, scaring her, but that isn't the case, they want her mind, her soul, her body.
Loki promised he wouldn't let that happen to her, read to find out what happens with Loki and Aurora's journey.
He had always been unhappy, for as long as he can remember.
Those he trusted lied to him, those he loved had left him. He was always the misunderstood one. But yet, she followed him around like a lost puppy; not knowing where that could lead her. He found her strange, yet he never pushed her away. He found her annoying, yet he never told it to her face. He believed that she was someone who was insignificant to him, and therefore it did not matter whether she followed him or not. It did not matter that she told him she cared.
It was all an illusion, he ascertained. Sadly, by the time he learned the truth, it was far too late for changes.
That there were no more illusions, only missed chances.
