Samreen Hammad lived a simple life, in a nice cozy home, with a well paying job and had a happy family. The only thing she regretted was losing her heart to Adam Ali, someone who had broken it in a blink of an eye. Indeed unrequited love hits hard.

Sohail Shaikh had everything in his life. He didn't know his Fiancee would run off on their wedding day leaving him heartbroken and humiliated. He didn't know he would be desperate to marry anyone and that anyone would turn out to be his cousin, Samreen.

Samreen and Sohail didn't get along well when Samreen's past, Adam and Sohail's ex-fiancee, Rania returned in their lives. Will they part ways and get along with their past or will they continue and flourish their relationship as husband and wife?

I stepped forward but he stepped back and looked into my eyes. His eyes deep like the oceans and mine were barely a river in front of him.

"I don't want to stand between you two. I know we got married but you've always loved him and I can try and convince him to marry you.."

Why and when did Allah made such a kind soul. The moment those words came out of his mouth, tears rolled down my eyes.

"...Don't show that you cared about my happiness, when you actually didn't. I doubt if you ever truly did care." I whispered the last part menacingly at him, clenching my jaw as my eyes filled with tears. The way his face hardened and his eyes dilated, I assumed he heard me as a muscle in his jaw ticked. I lowered my pointing finger and wiped my tears furiously from the back of my hand, looking away. "It's good that you got to know about everything before this marriage facade got out of our hands. Now, you'll realize that you never had any feelings for me and it was just an infatuation." He scoffed, looking away. His adam's apple bobbed as his veins popped out lividly. "Don't you dare insult my love, Wali! My love for you was so pure. You know what? You don't even deserve it." I told him, swallowing the lump in my throat. My voice came out harsh as my breath grew thin and ragged. I tried to control myself, reminding there were people in this house. Ya Allah, who was this man standing in front of me? ----- Meet Wali Rehman Khan and Aleyha Shaikh. They both grew up together, they were cousins by fate but best friends by choice. **Part of Preloved Series- Can be read as a stand-alone** You don't have to read Preloved in order to read this book. You can read this story on its own but my personal advice would be to read Preloved first if you haven't already, but it's completely up to you guys! ---------------------------- Hamza and Ayat had been living two different and wholly disconnected lives. They are not easy, they are not simple, and they most definitely don't agree on most things...then why are their paths colliding? Can two broken souls be woven together in love that is both pure and real? And if so, how far can you go for the one you love? ---------------------------- 'You hate me?' He gripped my wrist harder. 'You are hurting me Mr.Hamza...' I swallowed back my resentment. His grip loosened around my wrist, but he didn't let me go completely. There were so many emotions twirling in my chest that I felt like my heart was going to explode. 'And you are hurting me, do you think that I planned to fall in...' He let go of me and looked away. I needed to get away from him, I turned around to go back to my room, but he grabbed my hand again and made me look at him. 'I am sorry' He said out of despair, his eyes darted all over my face waiting for my reply. He looked so vulnerable as opposed to a second ago when his eyes were full of rage. I couldn't move.
