New York, present day, alternate timeline. Women don't have a voice, they have duties. The four lands that make up her kingdom isn't any different from their neighbouring countries. Alissia was raised by her father and when he died her grandfather continued her unconventional upbringing. Now she'll have to navigate the shadows who want her for themselves and the ones who want her dead. She's going to have to fight for her place while the gypsy seers try to find a man who is vital in a prophesy that will define the future of several kingdoms. How will this accidental assassin deal with a life full of courtly expectations, restrictions and shadows?
