In order to be human, one must possess the following qualities:

Soul, the innate physical reality of the world. Anything that can be touched, that can hold substance in physical form, has soul.
Spirit, the ability to perceive soul, that is, to perceive oneself and the world around them.

Progress, the ability to use the mythical gifts granted to us to bring humanity forward.

Without these, one cannot be considered human.
