Tooru Oikawa is the prince, heir to the throne of the Kingdom of Aoba Johsai. He's got it all, status, riches, resources, not to mention that pretty face of his-- But there's something missing. He always gazes out his window and sneaks into town at night, to meet the people and see the sights, but it's never enough. He wants more than a crown and a title; he wants to venture out and live his life.
Hajime Iwaizumi is a pirate, wanted in every kingdom he's come across. He's infamous, some say he's dangerous, but at the very least he's a thief. Living by no one else's order other than his own, he's in it for the adventure, the thrill, and the riches. Which is why when he finds the Prince Oikawa hiding in the crew's chambers, he agrees to let him stay-- only after the prince bribes him, of course.

You look forward to see your childhood friend because it's been ten years, but you guys have only been sending letters and have no idea of how each other look like. Hajime Iwaizumi is your childhood friend, but It seems that his childhood friend that you remember is Tooru Oikawa is there as well. You all probably only played with each other couple times before you moved away. Tooru Oikawa is now the setter of the Aoba Jousai volleyball team and has a lot of girls chasing him. You can say that he's handsome now. You only look forward to play the volleyball team and maybe spend some time with Hajime before high school end. Oikawa saw that you weren't the girls that interest in chasing him, so he was bothered by that.
