During a peaceful and prosperous newleaf a young warrior receives a prophecy from StarClan. Predicting a terrible betrayal and she struggles to figure out what it means. She later finds out that she wasn't the only one to receive a prophecy. Three other cats had received a similar message from StarClan. They all struggle to find out what it means and who the traitor is but instead discover something dangerous that threatens all the clans. Meanwhile the traitor hides in plain sight.

Rising from the Ashes
The four Clans-GrassClan, OakClan, PineClan and WillowClan-have lived in relative balance since the Clans began. They kept separate, save for their Gathering every full moon. While they had their disagreements, they kept a relatively harmonious existence. They had always been four Clans and it was believed that they always would be. For as long as they kept the warrior code alive, the Clans would continue to thrive. That's when the troubles began. One long, hot, dry greenleaf, a fire swept through GrassClan. Some cats were lost but those that survived resumed life in their now scorched territory. They knew that life was going to be harder than ever, but they could not abandon the only home they had ever known. The next couple of seasons, GrassClan struggled to feed themselves with little prey to be found. Yet, they refused to give up. Greencough swept through the Clan, snuffing out the new lives before they had even begun. The dreaded sickness left its mark, stealing the future of the Clan and all hope with it. Life had taken its toll on GrassClan. All that remained were their young leader, their deputy, their elderly medicine cat, one warrior and three elders. They had no apprentices, no she-cats and no kits. The once vibrant Clan was on the brink of dying out. The four Clans would soon be no more. Then, at the next Gathering, StarClan brought a message to the Clans: GrassClan must survive. There had always been four Clans and that could not change. They proposed that volunteers from the other three Clans should join GrassClan to help restore it. Cats were given one moon to consider the offer. Prophecies are works about journeys and saving clans via StarClan's designated cats. StarClan can't predict everything though, right? Sparkfur is hated by much of her clan. She's much more intelligent than any other cat, she's sassy, and an annoyance. They have half a mind to kick her out, but at the same time, they would never put the deputy's sister in the dangers of being a loner. That's the difference about DrizzleClan and its fellow bordering clans: the rogues are savages that will murder any lone cat in cold blood if they don't join up with the growing Rogue band.
