If only she could take things seriously and if only he could lighten up. And if only the mystery attacker would stop trying to break them up.

"What is this?" August asks, throwing the note on the desk where I'm sitting.

"Well, hello to you too." I answer innocently. I smirk at Gia. "That's my end of the bargain." I calmly state.

"What are you talking about? This is supposed to be a simple affair, not some musical!" He spits.

I glance down at the note and what I'd written. I thought it was pretty clear.
