The feeling of the fresh cold air flying through my hair, my hands up above my head, feeling the air pass by between my fingers. Breathing in the subtle freedom that I was receiving. My eyes linger below at him staring up at me. He was grinning, his beautiful emerald eyes staring back at mine. The light of the city passing by reflecting my eyes. At that moment, I didn't think twice before I placed my two palms on his cheeks and lean down and kiss his lips. The taste of intoxication of happiness indulged me and I knew I would always feel this way. Only when I'm around him, I'm happy. As I pulled away from his lips, my eyes meet his. Yet, I didn't get to see his green eyes anymore, they were slowly turning a shade darker. The air around me becomes confined. The sparks that surrounded us become lightning bolts. My hands that were once feeling the air between my fingers become tied. My blood turned cold and I was paralyzed in one spot... afraid to move or to scream. Our fairytale becoming my worst twisted nightmare over time. My long hair was gone from my sight, no longer resting below my shoulders and my lips disappear under the grey tape. My happiness and love for him were sucked right out of my soul and I could no longer breathe. Wounds appearing all over my body. I look at him and all I see is pain.
