"What the heck, where is my diary," I said to myself. This can't be happening. If someone stole it I am going to kill myself. What if someone at my school stole it? Oh no, that wouldn't be good. I am a monster. I am a monster for leaving my father to die on that horrible day when they caught up to us. Maybe this is stupid to feel this way. I would have died either way. The only difference is dying in cowardice, for running away from your prison, or dying in pride, going down fighting for a noble cause, knowing that you changed something.
