Before 7 year time skip Fairy Tail.
Natsu having been treated badly by his nakama, even Happy. The dragon slayer is depressed but doesn't leave. Not making anything better, his friends had kicked him out of the team he had created.
A she-wolf stumbles into the guild hoping to seek shelter from the dark forces that are trying to get to her. She is drawn to the depressed dragon slayer whom is trying to hide his sadness.
