13 parts Complete In the world of Leben, villages are scattered across. The scorching blue star that lights the lands and brings day can burn you if you're out for too long. But the people have adapted to the heat. In most villages, there are such things called Protectors, which each village has from one to two of them, depending on the size.
But what an old prophecy stated, was that the world would come to an end. Two boys were gifted unspeakable power at young ages, and when they learned of each other, they swore to protect the world, until one allowed the power to take the best of him. He lost in battle between his best friend and went out into hiding to work on his mischievous plans. As for the other boy, after defeating his best friend, his power turned him mad. The Mad Man was who he was known as, and he became a legend to all, only seeked by those in search of wise words.
Now, these adolescent boys, meet. It was by coincidence, not by fate itself. The kids knew each other in another time. All they seeked was for new lives to live, for their old lives bored them, or were destroyed. They had no idea what awaits in store as they venture through all the lands of Leben, but once they reach the future, they'll learn of truths hidden by not only man, but the gods who man fear.
