The story of Chloe McGladdery is anything but a good one. From horrible and traumatic experiences, to loneliness and isolation from the world, she's experienced just about everything, both good (well goodish) and bad.

Mostly bad.

But there's one thing that Chloe has never had the chance to experience; love. She's never known what it feels like to look at someone and feel like that one person is the reason for your entire existence, to look at someone and feel that only that person can make you feel whole again, stitch you back up again at the broken seams.

But that all changes when she transfers to Silverlake High School, home to the Tigers. A place she absolutely dreads. All she wants is to finish high school as quickly and quietly as she can, and finally get out there, into the big wide world where she can show everyone who she really is, the girl she's been hiding from the world for so long.

But the one thing she doesn't expect is for people to come along and accomplish that, just way sooner than she originally planned.

Chloe's path to greatness and success has definitely not been an easy one, and she's lived through horrors that most people will never experience themselves. But journeys as tough as those are what make people into the best versions of themselves, and her future just became a whole lot more better.

She just hasn't realised it yet.
