Rachel was born in Sokovia, before it.. you know. Before the Avengers and Hydra tore in two and separated her from her birth parents. She was an only child, her parents were normal civilians who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Just barely hanging on to any Sokovian accent, she was unknowingly about to be adopted, six years after her rescue. What would happen if she found out her new father was an Avenger and her new mother's brother was one as well?

Her DNA is shared with her father, which has resulted in her growing at twice the rate of a normal child. Banner and Stark had studied her anatomy since birth and couldn't understand it either.
