Seiren, a woman born between a human and a unseen being, is chosen to be the sacrifice to the unseen beast that lives inside the Cursed Forest to stop the misfortune that had fallen upon the village after she was born. Toji, a man who was chosen to protect the first child of the Black Butterfly, arrives at the small village where he meets for the first time Seiren. Knowing that the unseen beast had already chosen its next vessel, he will try everything he can do to protect the Black Butterfly's child and to stop the curse brought by the red butterflies that has fallen over the village.
