The First Crazy

Callie does not want to see Lukas Hemson again. Ever. He humiliated her when she was seventeen and, three years later, absence has not made her heart grow any fonder. In fact, she's gone out of her way to avoid any situation in which he might be present. It's been pretty easy so far, mostly because her mother informed her that Lukas moved to another city for college and stayed there to work after his graduation. Actually, it's pretty much guaranteed that she'll never run into him again. Or so she tells herself.

Of course, Lukas comes back. Why wouldn't he? It's CLEARLY too much to ask for Callie to have a halfway decent existence after the way he blatantly humiliated her when she was in high school. Lukas Hemson is scum, and she doesn't want anything to do with him. Which is probably why he shows up at her cousin's wedding. How much of an asshole do you have to be to ambush someone at a wedding?!

Callie has a few choices.
1) Move to Antarctica (She'd make it work.)
2) Pretend that Lukas Hemson is entirely invisible (Like air. Or the plague.)
3) Beat him at his own game.

Ever since Lukas' deliberate (and successful) attempt to embarrass her in front of everyone she knew, Callie's become excellent at holding grudges. She almost feels a bit sorry for Luke.
