Alex looked down at his lap, allowing a tear to slip down his cheek. "He's starting to scare me," he admitted quietly, too ashamed to meet his lovers' eyes.

John clucked, resting a hand on his cheek. "He's always scared me," he confessed, causing Alex's eyes to snap to him. Thomas hummed wrapping his arms around Alex.

"Run away with us," he pleaded. "Just for a little while, please just run away with us."
