A/N: this goes out to @Kieron0103's book 'The Beacon Railway, and @Braedey95's 𝙷𝚊𝚟𝚎𝚗 𝚘𝚏 𝚂𝚝𝚎𝚊𝚖 story, and I thought of making a Thomas and Friends story. Thomas and Friends characters belong to their respected owners/creators, along with some characters that'll be in this book. Now I can work by myself and see the other engines pass by. They can shunt their coaches themself for all I care." (You'd be surprised at how big the fandom is) After the crap that was the HiT era, which was what inspired me to do this in the first, the Sharon Miller era, the Big World Big Adventures era, and the cartoon crap that the Reverend Wilbert Awdry was against that's coming up this fall, I've decided to take it upon myself to rewrite everything Thomas in a more detailed literary format. I aim to fix everything in S8-16 and S22-24, and what's coming next. 1967, the year before the end of steam. After Thomas, Edward and the other engines of Thesang managed to save a select few engines. More and more steam engines have been trying to escape to Thesang in order to survive the purge that is happening on the mainland. Whilst all this chaos is happening, Gordon feels the biggest pressure of all, with being demanded and pressured by control personally, he is being ripped apart inside. However, with the right engines around him, some he never expected to have. Gordon is seen as the only engine to save the remaining survivors of steam. Read this final adventure of this trilogy by seeing Gordon go through shock, torture and pain which will leave him as the shining hero to all engines of the UK.
