A/N: this goes out to @Kieron0103's book 'The Beacon Railway, and @Braedey95's 𝙷𝚊𝚟𝚎𝚗 𝚘𝚏 𝚂𝚝𝚎𝚊𝚖 story, and I thought of making a Thomas and Friends story. Thomas and Friends characters belong to their respected owners/creators, along with some characters that'll be in this book. Also, other characters will appear, and they belong to their respected owners. My own OC characters belong to me. I wish to give a call out to @Braedey95,@kieron0103, and others.

"I arrived from Brighton to the North Western Railway, even though I didn't mean to. I was bored of just shunting coaches for the big engines in the station, and I yearned to see the world. But then, a black engine was pushed by the trucks into a field. I rescued him with the breakdown train, and Sir Topham Hatt awarded me with my own special coaches and my own branch line! Now I can work by myself and see the other engines pass by. They can shunt their coaches themself for all I care." This is a rewrite of a childhood favourite of mine that's not very popular but still holds nostalgic value, at least to me. While technically retaining he same story, this is the definitive version of the feature-length special "Calling All Engines!" starring Thomas the Tank Engine, Diesel 10, Emily, James, Toby, and all their friends! When Sir Topham Hatt announces the building of a new airport on Sodor, old rivalries between steam engines and diesels rapidly resurface. A trick by Thomas backfires badly and soon the future of the Island and Sir Topham Hatt's railway is in jeopardy.
