An adaptation to the old Brothers Grimm fairytale, Hansel and Gretel. Hansel and Gretel have just turned sixteen and you know what that means - rebellious teenager time. But maybe they're a little too innocent; their only wish is to have some good ole' gingerbread. The twins mother have always forbidden them from eating gingerbread and they never understood why. They also didn't understand why they craved it so badly, after hearing their father's wonderful stories of gingerbread cookie making during Christmas when he was a child. One day, the twins were on another one of their rebellious teen runaways together when they were overwhelmed by the aroma of gingerbread drifting through the woods. They follow the captivating smell of gingerbread to find a delicious house and meet an old woman who changes their lives forever.
