Nikko Bimu transfers to UA high school from Shiketsu in the middle of the semester. Trauma-ridden, but still determined to succeed, she throws herself into the Hero Studies course to prove her worth.
Unwilling to be anyone's victim again, Nikko quickly finds herself at odds with a mouthy, explosive boy. He doesn't like her attitude. She doesn't like his condescension.
This new school, with all its possibilities, could make or break Nikko's entire future. Coupled with the recent death of her father and a PTSD diagnosis, she has to fight harder than most to get to the top.
Can she survive UA? More importantly, can she survive Bakugo?
