When Divatox tried to turn them evil Ariel is the only one that wasn't affected because she is still a power ranger. While they were helping Jason and Kimberly to see who their real friends are Jason knocked Ariel into a coma. After they realized who their real friends are Jason and the others escape with Jason carrying Ariel on his back because the temple was going to blow. They get out just as the temple is about to blow. They get back to Angel Grove and some time later Ariel wakes up from the coma. She decides to continue her journey as a power ranger.
