This story, as a whole, is meant to be a reimagined version of the original Into the Light that I wrote 3.5 years ago. There will be changes to what I wrote in the original book, but I will be expanding the story significantly and providing more insight into the lore as a whole. Please don't get too mad that this is not the same Into the Light you knew and loved. I hope you enjoy the story. Let's get started!

The story takes place long ago and is about a scientist that has no other dream but to create life. After many failures, he is forced to seek help from hooded figures that appear one night. He succeeds, but gets trapped in deal he can't escape from. A few months later, a shadow starts terrorizing the land of Inkopolis. It strikes at night, it's blade cutting down everyone that gets in it's way. One night, four travelers gather to stop the shadow, and go out to fight it. He became a hero by saving Cuttlefish by being cornered and killed but he sacrificed himself for the win of the 2nd Great Turf War. Not too long after the war, he was dug up by the "CEO" of the F. A. O Agency. And became a valuable asset for them. Along with his new friend "Cross", they moved to the Plaza to live a normal life. But do they? Follow the adventures of Brooks and Cross. As they try their hardest to keep their identity secret. And will Brooks can finally stop reminiscing the past trauma? We won't know until we find out. Shall we start? With Alt Series being re-written, why not put the books into one and keep them all? Set within the Splatoon universe with blood, war, angst, fluff and so much more, our main characters travel to different timelines where they combat one problem after another and meet friends along the way. From sanitisation, to a world full of order, absolute chaos, or... places that aren't Inkopolis? These worlds could contain anything and what ever awaits them on the other side of their portals will definatlely be an adventure. This series of events in this book is (technically was because it is being re-written) canonical to the 38 Saga. However, this follows a different story, so you do not need to read it to understand these books.
