Life has a way of teasing you, dangling your biggest dreams right in front of you. The moment you wrapped your fingers around that dream would be the same moment it shattered. Crushing your soul so fiercely, it would never heal from that near fatal wound. Yet, life moved on, and she expected you to find a new path. To find a different route to take, because death wasn't the answer she pointed towards.

Izuku Midoriya, now 20 years old, made a living as a popular romance novelist. Without a quirk he needed to find a new dream, and maybe he could live his old ones through his writing. He didn't expect to run into a villain that day, and definitely didn't expect to finally reunite with Katsuki Bakugou.
Maybe life wasn't so bad after all. If only he could figure out how to explain his novels love interests to his old childhood friend while simultaneously watching his back for crazed villain fans.

Katsuki wouldn't make the same mistakes as middle school. He wouldn't push Izuku away this time, and he'd tell him how he felt. after saving his life, multiple times of course. He was a Hero after all. He was and always will be Izukus hero.
