The year was 2350.  It had been nearly two hundred years since the end of the war and the world was finally regaining its balance.  Those who survived the nuclear weapons, fell dead to the bio-weapons, but those who survived-they became the licensed.  They were a new race.  A sturdy race, an immune race and they needed to keep it that way.  The licensed knew that they were strong enough to survive illness and strife, but still few remained who weren't resistant, those who survived by pure dumb luck.  The licensed had to protect those few individuals, and in doing so they created the Underground, a place where the unlicensed could live in a sterile society without the fear of disease and disability.

 

Time passed.  Laws changed.  No longer were the unlicensed treasured and their kingdom fell to an underground slavery.  It was time for a change.

 

Beverly Macs saw no problem in the enslaving of the unlicensed, after all they were nothing but uneducated savages.  She had felt their hatred first hand, and she decided that she would never be so weak as to allow it to happen again.  So when a group of unlicensed kidnap her in a desperate act of rebellion, Beverly fears the worst.  But as time passes, she begins to learn of the lies of the licensed.  After all, Anonymous is just one man.  One man who could change the world.

(This novel is under revision as of 2-5-19 up until I feel the true motivation to scrub through most of my older work. Also this summary is something to be fixed but until then) A thousand years ago the extermination of Earth from unknown circumstances brought about the end of humanity for the planet. The end of animals, most of nature, technology and everything that advanced in between. After Earth's destruction a new life began with the survivors of the near extinction of humanity. They constructed a singular civilization encased in a wall for protection from outside forces, built on the hope to reproduce and thrive with the life they were forced into. Zykard would be the start of a second life for humans But within that time of rebirth some of the survivors surged with horrors of Pre-Reearth. Heresy, treachery, riots, thefts, murders and revolutions. A need to for order was introduced, and brought about the leader of Zykard and seven factions of ten people. A thousand years later theres a change. An outsider appears and seemingly becomes the new leader of Zykard, bringing more hardships with their hopes. Crimson, a seventeen year old girl faces the verge of adulthood. The final trials being the only gap between her new reality. A new injection to be given to everyone after the trials. She will face the ugly second face of what Zykard really is behind the curtains. Face pain she never thought would be possible and lose what she loves the most. She will understand what it's like to become apart of the Zykard.

As the sun vanished the world was thrown into chaos, vampires had taken over.. With the take over they hadn't realized that this could possibly be the downfall of their race, especially when they discovered their mates in humans or even changed humans. An anomaly had started to appear in some of those that were either created or born. It had created what Vampires and humans had started to call Hybrids. Some vampires started to take action against the hybrids where others saw no issue until a new King rose to the throne. This king held a few secrets of his one, one being his Queen was a hybrid: the very thing he detested and the very thing she was. The other was one that not even his Queen knew, so when she was allowed to leave the kingdom to go in search of one of her sisters that very secret would soon be revealed to her. If the vampires were allowed to ride the world of the hybrids, that would also mean the end of the human races, if the hybrids that had soon formed a rebellion against the tyrant ruler succeeded in overthrowing the king it would be the end of the secrets that he had been hiding for several decades. If the rebellion won would they order the end of the vampires or would they learn to coexist. Either way one way or the other the world was about to change once again. Maybe someday someone would be able to bring the sun back, for now that wasn't something anyone was thinking about. #ONC2022 Prompt #19 The sun goes out and no one knows why, just as no one can say for certain how life on earth is able to carry on without the life giving necessities of its star. But with the planet on the state of perpetual darkness, the vampires certainly aren't complaining.

What's left of Dark Tech exists in three Neutral Zones spread throughout the globe. Three "war free" zones that house civilians who wish to remain outside the war. But a shadow beneath what's left of the world's political system upsets this balance and a secret group known only as The Keepers push the factions past their fear of Dark Tech and into the zones of neutrality. Dark Tech unleashes a new faction on the world- a fighting force that has taken high technology and martial skill to a new level. A group of warrior monk gamers that once again change the face of battle and square off against the faction's armies single-handedly.

All this time, I hopelessly remained devoted to a ghost who had given the best of himself to a fiery red-head with a sassy personality and the body of a supermodel. For 10 years, I held to the desperate thought that maybe, just maybe, he'd be someone I could count on. Instead, I watched him marry my best friend, smiled as they welcomed their son. Stood, holding that beautiful boy as his mother was in the first round of executions after the beginning of the Revelation. Helped heal Will's wounds in the aftermath. Cried, clutching the tear-stained shirt of my best friend as his son took his last staggering breath in that first harsh winter. The guilt of my emotions crawl through me. The sky was a flat, depressing grey and the incessant, soaking rain left her constantly chilled. It was a typical "liquid sunshine" day in the Pacific Northwest. They drove past a single tall scraggly tree on top of a hill shrouded in mist. The creepy tree was full of screaming crows. How could she hear them from inside the bus when she couldn't even seem to hear the voices of the kids around her? Geez, that was an awfully freaking dark image. She shivered and looked away. What did they call a group of crows again? Right, a murder of crows. Perfect. The weather was certainly the only thing that was typical these days, although you'd never know it by looking around the bus at most of the kids as they sat joking and gossiping with each other just like they had before... before that day everything had changed. Idiots.

These chips called DEC, as Contained electrical current, it's an electronic chip that looks like a silver dot, these chips allowing The Law and any actual law enforcement to be able to track everyone. And it would help to keep everyone in line and stomp out any pesky notions before they manifested into something bigger, something dangerous. Shirley is known in the Facility as Ten, alongside six others, they have spent years enduring confinement and rigorous testing in order to secure a future as head of the Law. When a group calls themselves the codas breaks into the Facility and kidnaps Ten and the others, she's forced to re-examine her future plans. In the year 2050, post-apocalyptic world, a lone girl must choose between becoming the next-in-line to head a corrupt government or siding with those who wish to see the world a better place. Order and lies, or truth and freedom? Whatever she chooses, one thing is clear: both sides bleed. Shirley should decide if the future she'd been promised since childhood is worth the lies it's built upon. Will Shirley choose the future that's been decided for her, or will she make out one all her own, even if that path leads to her destruction?

We now live on a synthetic planet designed and built by our ancestors who came together from all parts of the globe to devise a plan to save us. We have lived peacefully for over a century.. Until now. Our lives were threatened when a mysterious and deadly virus broke out, killing entire communities at a time. The council says that they have a plan; they said that in order to prevent the death of more innocent people they will test every man, woman, and child for signs of the virus. Any person found to have been infected will be quarantined, the ones who die will be given a proper burial while the ones who survive are deemed carriers and are to be sent to the home planet to prevent further outbreak. I was prepared for the people I know and some I love being taken away for the greater good, but I never would have expected that among the list of people being taken from my community, that I would be one of them.. I survived the quarantine. Now for the survival of my planet I, and the other Carriers must be sent to the home planet. I'm going back to Earth. (This is not based on The 100 but there are similarities.) (Some violent themes, but other than that is entirely clean.) Please comment if you have any questions or concerns. Or how long robots have been banned on punishment of death. All anybody knows is smoke, acid rain, and metal. And nobody thinks anything of it. Robots with minds as alive as yours being murdered in the slowest way possible? Normal.There are no uprisings. There are no rebellions. As far as everyday people go, the world is perfectly fine. As long as there are no robots. Because if there are, it's a kangaroo court on their fate. Aaran Sozos has spent the majority of her young life accused of being a robot. And as I'm sure you're aware, reader, if people call you something enough, you start to believe it. But when a classmate calls upon her help to find a missing brother, they need to search outside of the city. A city that is suspended above the earth. That is inhabited by robots. All I can tell you now is that they're doing a better job of keeping the mother nature happy than we ever could. But keep in mind, mother nature doesn't mind murder, either.
