And then he saw her, standing in the moonlight. He swiftly stepped into the shadows before she saw him. The Elven King could not believe his eyes as he beheld the rare beauty in front of him. Hair long and the color of gold. Eyes a deep green ringed with gold. Her dress a waterfall tumbling down her legs. Her voice as soft as silk as she sang an enchanting  song. She was unaware of him standing near as her voice reached a soprano. He was about to step out of the shadows to ask the beautiful woman her name, when some palace guards came stamping down the corridor drunk from the celebration of starlight. The beautiful woman turned and ran with her skirts flowing behind her.

This is how Dakota and Thorin met. Thorin is Dís' brother. They have been best friend form a very young age. They never left each other's side. Even when they got older they remained best friends. Thror and Thrain accepted her like their daughter. Dakota's life was perfect. She didn't need anything else. She was happy. But she had no idea what was about to happen....

The Hobbit Fanfiction Bofur x OC It was hard to imagine Bofur taking anything seriously. He was the optimistic one of the Company, the one always joking around, the one singing and dancing on tables to lighten the mood. That was why no one noticed his change of character when he met the joyful Periwinkle, the only female member in the Company.
