Confusion begins to take on a smell, and that smell - that odor - is forever lacing the air. Doors open, and as they peel away from their frames, they release that pungent smell as those standing in a position where they are taking the brunt of the waft of air are faced with a choice: to go through the open doors - to risk all in order to find clues, direction or take on opportunity - or to close them, to seal them shut that they may never open again.

Sometimes life can play tricks to you. That's what I thought when I was in front of this police officer. He was impatient, his khaki jacket still wet from the heavy rain. It's been hours now that he interrogates me. But I had nothing to answer. Our relationship? It was non-existent. So how did I end here? "You only kept silent but you know it won't help you. Your name is in his calls register. So now, answers the question! Why were you two in contact?!" ••• "𝗛𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗺𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹!"
