The Summer Siren
Astrid was preparing for a strong storm one day and then the next she was in completely unknown waters and taken prisoner by an attractive stranger. Not knowing what kind of weird dream she was having she throws herself into the water only to find that she's not in a dream or a stimulation. She climbs onto her boat quickly before she notices another ship heading toward them. She can't get the pirates attention and before she knows it there is another stranger on her ship. Not knowing how to help herself, she continues to follow the pirates orders until she gets a better understanding of what's going on and how she's going to handle this situation. The only question she continues to ask herself is if she's going to live through this as two attractive strangers continue to ignore her as they fight over her and her boat. A Mermaid for the Lonely
A mermaid named Sirène, whose job as a mermaid is to guide those who have died at sea to rest their souls and not be trapped. She typically finds sailors whose ships have sunk, and pirates and convoys alike. Her personality is one of seriousness, and she does not express herself by facial expressions very often. She does sung lovely tunes though, ones of the sea and winds, not ones meant to lure anyone to their doom. She seldom spends time with other merfolk and prefers to be on her own. She is however very curious of the various emotions humans possess and their intensity, since she does not feel these. One day, while Sirène was staying near Pointe de Pen Hir, a dangerous cliffside that plunges right into the ocean. Looking upwards by chance, she saw a human, a man, standing dangerously near the edge of the rocks. The wind blew harshly and she could only watch and wait as he toppled over the edge and feel towards the ocean. She saw no fight in him as he fell. ________________________________________________________________ This is a fantasy story with my mermaid OC that I started making back when I was in middle school. I've used her character to help me through tough times and I am revisiting her. I want to make sure I have a place to remember her story, and make it a happier one than before.Complete
