The Hunger Games ended when Katniss won the rebellion, and most districts were beyond done with anything Hunger Games. One district, however, has decided to continue to do the Hunger Games. With no arena built for them, they are shipped across seas to a remote island and willingly fight to the death. If you like Battle Royale, you'll like this book, it's a cheesy rip-off.

But still battling with Trauma from the games she managed to find the light in the darkness. Finnick Odair met her from being a mentor for his own district and after she won he helped her through the trauma that he knew came with winning the games.
