A widespread fear of reality is ingrained by Apricity Internets, an advanced technology company which enforces every child to be implanted with a specialized brain chip, named Alice.
Jamie is a non-binary 17 year old living in the year 2221 who challenges this company and it's oppressive government, and who just might find love on the way.

Over the years with her on a leash beside him he grows to love the young girl but his father a cruel king punishes her whenever the prince is out of sight. On one such day the king sends her to be adjusted, a cruel way in which emotion is stripped to improve behaviour except Ari has never had bad behaviour. Fortunately for Ari the car is ambushed by rebels to the crown.Complete
