Reine Matthews is a ballerina. That is all she has been taught to be- silent, graceful, ethereal. On the outside, at least. On the inside, she is burning with passion and fire and life, desperate for a creative outlet that can turn her flames into something much bigger and brighter. On the verge of deciding to quit the arts altogether, she runs into her childhood friend, Tom Hiddleston, who introduces her to a vibrant, vocal community in theater. Reine finally feels a sense of belonging, and a true acceptance into the arts, as well as a rekindled friendship with Tom. But as she moves further into the realm of theater, she will have to make choices that will impact herself, her future, and her jumbled up feelings for Tom. Her world has been shaken, and she needs to decide what to build or leave demolished in it.

Lucy Livingstone is a grown woman. Knows her own worth; her talents and her strengths. She's been an up and coming member of a local theatre company for some time now. Good at it too by all accounts. So why does Lucy feel like a gauche and useless teenager in the face of a new director? Why does she let him intimidate her? And why does she feel an undeniable attraction? It's Tom Hiddleston, that's why. When Lucy gets the chance to attend a Shakespeare workshop led by the famous actor, she has no idea what she's letting herself in for. Neither, it seems, does Tom.
