The Girl in the Hat

This short story is a fan-made theory by me about events that transpire during XY115 / XY&Z22. The plot is from Ash's point of view. It involves moments from that particular episode and also takes some inspiration from the movie "I Choose You". During the closing credits of the movie, a montage of Ash's past friends is played where they are minding their own business and at a point, look towards the screen from the viewers' perspective. A popular theory (and up to some extent an official one) is that they're actually looking at Ash whom they have never met before and who is also the one asking them for directions. In this alternate continuity from the movies, Ash and Serena have never met each other prior. A lot of the dialogue is taken from the English dub of the anime so as to make the English speaking fans feel relatable. Consider it as more of a fill in the blank type story which is why it isn't very long. It's my first AmourShipping fanfic and English isn't my first language so I hope you enjoy it and forgive me for any grammatical mistakes I make! :D
