Charlotte Summers is Crosswell High School's smartest student. She has flawless grades because when she isn't reading her favorite book, she's studying. Her parents push her to be the epitome of perfection and expect nothing but excellence from her.

Parker Smith CHS's notorious bad boy. He supposedly uses people then throws them away like they're trash, not caring about anyone but himself. His charming looks have every girl falling at his feet. Well, almost.

Charlotte knows not to associate herself with someone like Parker because it can only bring trouble, but that's a hard thing to do. Especially when he's her new next door neighbor.
