It was Sir Lew Grade's incredible company that distributed many successful cult programs such as Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, Space: 1999, UFO, Stingray, Joe 90, The Prisoner, The Saint, The Persuaders, Danger Man, Gideon's Way, The Muppet Show. Julie On Sesame Street, The Champions, Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), The Baron, Man In A Suitcase, and many other cult series.
Here, Century 22 Productions delves into the legends of these productions and their massive revival of interest in the early 2000s. Thanks to Carlton (who to all intents and purposes were ITV), these cult classics were launched into the new millennium in a new digitally remastered format that we are privileged to enjoy today. The Mysterons cleverly engineer the death of a number of Titan's Aquaphibians. Through a nearby fish mining base, the company are manipulated by the Martian forces to destroy a Terror Fish carrying a number of Titan's people. Once Captain Black forms a deadly relationship with Titan, both ensure that they will seek out their main objectives in securing vengeance against mankind - the mining base is the next target on the list...
Under the supervision of the World Aquanaut Security Patrol, Marineville has observed that this mining base has had its structure unnaturally altered. With Cloudbase already aware that the Mysterons attempt to strike their deadliest blow yet, and swear to finally destroy Captain Scarlet once and for all, Spectrum are called in to assist Marineville. More mysterious goings-on occur when the body of the head of the fishing company is found in his office, with another of the same person alive and well on the base...
