Most people would take the blade to become the hero or an adventurer. Some want power or to make millions. This one just wants to make the world peaceful, but first he's gotta save his sister from the Goddess of Evil's grasp. He's forced to become a hero but not the way they want him to be.

He was reincarnated because his soul was stronger than the rest, but is having a soul stronger than others mean anything? You may become powerful but that just means there's something far stronger than you.
