After Aether meets Lumine and finds out the truth about her, Lumine disappears... But suddenly, the ley lines are becoming more and more disordered, and the Abyss Order seems to be behind this.
Of course, spoilers for Archon Quests.
Most of what's in the story isn't canon to Genshin Impact, which belongs to mihoyo, but is built on canon lore.
