The insurgent sat in his foxhole, waiting for contact with the enemy. Everything was dead silent. Before the soldier could do anything to sound an alarm, he disappears from his comrades. Only the faint whistling in the wind was only the betrayer of the stealthy kill. Their enemy is here. He is here. The Viridian Enmity has arrived.

I created this story mainly because I couldn't find a soldier AU that wasn't 90% ship, 9% not knowing how militaries function and 1% half assed plot.

If I decide to add a ship it will probably be a B-Plot Izuocha or Izumomo. No I don't take ship suggestions.

Also please have a little leniency for some historical inaccuracies since I'm doing research and I simply don't have the time to do a full flushing out of sources and citations. If you spot something you think is wrong, please comment it on the paragraph in question.

The Dekusquad is known for being a cinnamon roll group. They're smart, have study sessions, always aiming to get good grades, and innocent. Or that's what Class 1-A thinks. No one knows what this group goes through everyday. One week UA discovered there's a traitor or traitors among the school. The Dekusquad started acting "shady" once the news was released. Class 1-A started to accuse them. A few weeks later Principal Nezu discovered the traitors but didn't turn them in as he discovered they aren't villains, but vigilantes. Since he is the smart rat lord of UA, he also knew there was probably more to their story. *A few weeks later* One day the Dekusquad didn't show up to school. Everyone knows that they only miss school if they're majorly hurt *cough* Midoriya *cough*, or sick. Everyone was confused, even Mr.Aizawa because they asked to be excused for an emergency but was never given a description of what the emergency was. They were at school two days later, but weren't "themselves". Chirstams is the best time of year or so people might think but not for the people of UA heroes course. Unknown to the first semesters, there is an anual war game which is held at christmas times in the unground city right beneath UA. No one knows about the 3 cities build beneath UA which served as a war game for each and every hero semester.
